Dog Tax Reminder

Dog count money on the calculator

Details have been published to explain how people with dogs can pay the annual tax on them. The announcement, by all the island’s Constables, has appeared in La Gazette Officielle and sets out the rate – £10 per animal – and how to pay.
No tax is payable on any dog under the age of six months or one that is kept and used solely by a blind or deaf person for his or her guidance.
St Sampson’s parishioners can pay the tax at the Douzaine Room, Chambre de la Douzaine, Le Murier, St Sampson, Monday to Friday from 9.30am – 12.30pm.
